REMOTE VISITING ARTIST SERIES: Genaro Molina

 Los Angeles Times staff photographer GENARO MOLINA has been a newspaper photographer for close to four decades. Molina began his career in journalism at the San Francisco chronicle and has since worked for the San Jose Mercury News, the Claremont Courier, and the Sacramento Bee. He has photographed the life and death of Pope John Paul II, the tragedy of AIDS in eastern Africa, the impact of Hurricane Katrina on New Orleans, Cuba after Castro, California migrant farm workers, the aftermath of the war in Bosnia, and the ongoing homeless crisis in Los Angeles. His work is widely published and exhibited.
