Celebrate 30 young people as they graduate from the County’s first Film and Digital Media Career Pathways pilot! First conceived by Supervisors Sheila Kuehl and Mark Ridley Thomas in 2018, the pilot was designed and delivered by Venice Arts in partnership with the County’s workforce development program (WDACS). Join us as participants share their completed work and works-in-progress, receive notes from a panel of industry professionals, and receive their certificates in short-form Digital Media Content Creation. Learning and opportunity continues this summer with paid internship placements, advanced classes, and an opportunity to sit for Adobe Premiere Pro certification.
