Miyelle Aiken
Assistant Manager,
Learning & Development

Miyelle supports and manages the Agent Trainees/interns as they develop and learn at UTA. She spent several years in nonprofit management and higher education. In her previous role with the Posse Foundation, Miyelle provided career development support and guidance to over 1200 Posse Scholars navigating college and post graduate opportunities. Her work with the Posse Foundation gave her the opportunity to create and cultivate close relationships with university officials nationwide, community members and organizations. Her passion for educational advocacy and people has also led her to support many community-based initiatives throughout Latin America. Miyelle holds a BA in International Studies and Hispanic Studies from Pepperdine University.

Wade Smart
Senior Manager,
Talent Acquisition

Wade has nearly 20 years experience working in recruiting across all business units in various industries and has worked closely with C suite on executive searches to staff their teams. Wade has extensive experience working in entertainment at studios like 20th Century Fox, Disney and NBCUniversal as well as entertainment platforms like FANDOM where he led Global Talent Teams in filling roles in EMEA, APAC, LATAM, Australia, and North America . Wade attended Cal State University, Northridge where he studied Marketing and was an All-American on the track & field team.

This is a free event. Priority for in-person training programs and financial stipends, including opportunities for paid internship placements, is given to active participants, ages 18-24, in Creative Conversations, as well as young people who are low-income, foster youth, homeless, and/or justice involved.
