Mitchell graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Computer Graphics, and has been an animator at Disney Animation for more 16 years, making significant contributions to every CG film since 2004 including Moana, Frozen, Wreck It Ralph, and many more. He is currently exploring the use of Virtual Reality in storytelling, and is developing a special VR workshop for Venice Arts’ students. Mitchell has volunteered with Venice Arts for nearly three years, working to raise awareness and funds, as well as to expand corporate involvement in Venice Arts’ educational and workforce development programs.
