CSSSA Photography Master Class: Polaroid Destruction

A great time was had by all who attended the CSSSA Photography Master Class on February 24, 2024.

In this hands-on workshop led by CSSSA faculty artist, Christopher Velasco, students explored unconventional and artistic ways to manipulate and destroy Polaroid photographs. By experimenting with mixed media, students transformed ordinary snapshots into one-of-a-kind pieces of visual art. This master class encouraged students to  think outside the frame, push the boundaries of instant photography, and embrace its ephemerality. Have a look at the process and finished pieces in the gallery above!
