  • Alexia P. and Camilla P. have secured spots at the prestigious California State Summer School for the Arts (CSSSA) this summer. CSSSA isn't just any summer program, it's a beacon for young artists across California, offering immersive training in various disciplines like visual arts, creative writing, dance, music, and film. Selection for CSSSA is a remarkable achievement, highlighting the talent and dedication of Alexia and Camilla. This opportunity will allow them to hone their craft, collaborate with like-minded peers, and be mentored by industry professionals. 

  • Lenora G. was awarded a full scholarship to attend the esteemed Otis Summer of Arts. This  program provides aspiring artists with a rich and immersive experience in various creative disciplines, including fine arts, fashion design, digital media, and more.

  • Carol A., Jake S., and Amber S. all received Scholastic Art & Writing Awards for their photography. The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards celebrate the artistic talents of young people, nationwide. Carol A. was awarded a Gold Key; Jake S. two Gold Keys, one Silver Key, and four Honorable Mentions; and Amber S. two Silver Keys, and one Honorable Mention. Gold Key works are automatically advanced to the national level of judging in New York City with results announced in June. Stay tuned!

  • Lenora G. and Divinagloria O. have been awarded full scholarships to the Rock’n Roll Camp for Girls LA Music Video Program where they will direct, shoot, and edit a music video for a local band and then screen it for a live audience.
