Venice Arts Welcomes Jaime Zavala as Executive Director

Venice Arts proudly announces the appointment of Jaime Zavala as its new Executive Director. Formerly at ArtworxLA, Jaime brings over 25 years of experience in non-profit management to this role, with a strong background in policy advocacy, fundraising, strategic planning, and community engagement. Jaime’s passion for creativity, resilience, and social justice aligns perfectly with Venice Arts' mission. About Jaime’s appointment, Venice Art’ Founding Executive Director, Lynn Warshafsky, says, "Both the Board and I have such confidence in Jaime. His deep commitment to developing young people through the arts, coupled with his proven track record as a nonprofit leader, make him the ideal candidate to lead our next chapter.”

Jaime's appointment follows an extensive search process led by Envision Consulting, and he was the standout candidate among hundreds of applicants.
