Since Rah-San Bailey began as a Venice Arts student seven years ago, they have grown into a sophisticated photographer, capturing the most interior emotions through portraiture.
About their work, Rah-San says: "Portraiture allows me to express myself through different people when my own words aren’t enough. In a sense I live vicariously through my subjects. Their beauty is a reflection of my understanding of the world..."
Rah-San is submitting their portfolio of work for a Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Senior Portfolio Scholarship. Past achievements include a Merit Award in Photography from the National YoungArts Foundation.
