Claude began taking classes with Venice Arts in 2009. In the two years he was enrolled at Venice Arts, he grew very attached to our program and his photography skills blossomed. Claude participated in the Shipping & Receiving project and the Advanced Studies workshop Independent Photo Projects, in which students work on larger, self-directed projects, with the assistance of their mentors and in conversation with their peers. Claude’s black-and-white images are characterized by a particularly skillful use of light and shadow to create mood. Claude graduated from Animo High School in Venice in June 2010 and attended Santa Monica College.
