Moze Cowper, J.D.
managing partner, cowper law, llp
Moze Cowper is the managing partner of Cowper Law LLP – a boutique litigation firm focused on plaintiffs’ mass tort and personal injury work. Prior to starting his own law firm, Moze was Senior Counsel in the corporate litigation group at Amgen Inc. – the largest biotech company in the world. Before joining Amgen Inc., Moze was an associate in the product liability group at the law firm Drinker Biddle & Reath.
Moze was raised by two individuals who are deeply interested in music, art, and giving back to their community. As a result, he was once licensed as a non-commercial disc jockey at WUNH 91.3, where he had his own jazz show for four years while in college. He has taught constitutional law to inner-city kids through the Constitutional Rights Foundation in Los Angeles as well as in Camden, New Jersey. He has served as a volunteer attorney for The Public Counsel Law Center representing an individual in U.S. Immigration Court. He co-founded and developed a charitable organization in Malibu called City to the Sea in order to inspire inner-city kids to do their first triathlon. From 2013-2016, he served as a Board Member for LA’s BEST – a nationally recognized after school enrichment program run out of the Los Angeles Mayor’s office.
Moze’s passion project is making wine from Santa Barbara county. He is now on his eighth vintage.
