At a time when species are struggling in the face of global warming and habitat destruction, Caroff's photos hold up a mirror to a natural world that, in his view, needs preservation. To help protect wildlife, Caroff donates a portion of the proceeds from sales of his images to conservation groups.
July 14–29, 2007 | Featuring photographer Susan Rennie. Following a detailed map, Susan visited every street in Venice to document their gates. Venetians old and new have erected a dazzling bricolage of gateways to their properties, a miscellany that mirrors all of the characteristics of Venice itself: artistic, eccentric, inventive, charming, off-beat, whimsical, artful. The show includes 40 of Susan's favorite gates.
